I think his SOTU speech will be pivotal to his agenda. He has been sounding nasty and angry lately--the Stalinist teeth coming out. If he thinks that is what America needs or wants, and does it in front of the Congress and the nation, he will be very rudely disappointed by the response.

Coming out shouting about "fighting for" whoever, and trashing the banks once more, will leave people disturbed and more distrustful than they already are, which is plenty. But we shall see...

This coming SOTU was supposed to be a celebration at passing Obamacare. Whoops.

You’re right about him sounding angry lately, since there are many on the left who think that his problem was that he wasn’t acting liberal enough!

I can’t make this stuff up if I tried. Can it be November already please?

“He has been sounding nasty and angry lately—the Stalinist teeth coming out.”

All dictators start to become unhinged when their aims are thwarted. Hitler started losing it when Germany was losing steadily, like all other tinpot monsters. Saddam was (odd to talk about this in the past tense) had Baghdad Bob spouting about the victories (haha) of the Iraqi army, and Jim Jones lost it too. They all do when their defeats start rolling.

I only hope that when Zero’s world collapses, he doesn’t take us with it. Jim Jones took his followers with him and so did Hitler and in some respects Saddam.
