I signed up for Politico to comment. This really fries me. The DOJ apparently screwed up this case as it did the old Ayers/Dornan case from the 70s. So, my question is: is there a statute of limitations on cases involving murder, in particular murder of US Citizens who are law enforcement personnel.

SOL isn't the issue, admissibility of evidence is. The appeal will not be successful.

Joe has his knickers twisted (to match his mind) over this .. is he equally concerned about the victims of the Ayers/Dornan murders those many years ago?

No.

It was really a rhetorical question. Both cases were dismissed because of DOJ misconduct. Biden, et al. don’t give a fig about the victims of Ayers/Dornan. They want the Blackwater case appealed to give them more reason to beat up on the Bush Administration (as if that hasn’t gotten way past old).

Chances on appeal, I would think, are nil. But anything to deflect attention from how poorly this Administration is being perceive, at long last.
