The case against the members of the Blackwater convoy, who were charged with manslaughter after firing into a crowd, collapsed when a federal judge issued an unusually harsh ruling on December 31 dismissing the case and criticizing the Justice Department for botching the case by building it on legally inadmissible statements the guards had been required to make immediately after the shooting.

In Obama bin Biden's world, Al Queda terorists get miranda rights, American security presonell don't.

Oft times our VP proves his lack of understanding what it means to defend yourself whether it be in deepest, darkest Africa to deepest darkest mid-town Manhattan. Joe is far from the sharpest knife in the drawer....another useful idiot who is willing to take the word of terrorists over non-terrorists.

I liked this part: White House officials said the U.S. Justice Department decided on the appeal and that Biden's trip was not intended to be way it would be announced.

Way to go, plugs.

I signed up for Politico to comment. This really fries me. The DOJ apparently screwed up this case as it did the old Ayers/Dornan case from the 70s. So, my question is: is there a statute of limitations on cases involving murder, in particular murder of US Citizens who are law enforcement personnel.

Joe has his knickers twisted (to match his mind) over this .. is he equally concerned about the victims of the Ayers/Dornan murders those many years ago?
