I fear I am never going to find someone that lines up exactly with my views. In my youth I would have held out for perfection. Now that I'm older, and have seen many of my quests for perfection end sadly by depriving me of what would have been better for me, I try to avoid that outcome.

I have no quarrel with those who choose to drop support for Sarah Palin in view of any stand she might take, or not take. All that I ask is that accord me the same consideration and civility.

I plan to watch things rock along and see how they shake out. Sometimes things that seem crystal clear at one point turn out quite different in the end.

I too realize perfection is a false goal. Heck, as imperfect as I realize I am, how on earth could I expect it in anyone else? My point was that we have hold everyone that wants to represent us to some basic fundamentals. In no way was it intended as an attack on your position. Do I vote for the lesser of two evils? Yes. Will I do whatever I can to try to make it a choice between one evil and one good. You Betcha.

That's very true. I wish Sarah would pull back from any involvement with McCain, but there are seven full months until this primary vote takes place August 31. Plenty of time to observe and plenty of time for many twists and turns.

And there is no result I've wanted more in this mid-term period than to see J. D. Hayworth enter the race and send Juan McCain to retirement at his wife's many homes.
