Scott Brown is no RINO. I have met him on three different occassions at Mass GOP fundraising events.

He will be a hawk on fiscal issues. And will be one of the strongest national security voices on our side.

The purist police might not like some of his moderation, but calling him a RINO is just silly.

On the big important issues (taxes, spending, and national security) he will be on our side.

On the other hand, he voted for Romneycare, and says he’d like to see congress do another health care bill—but with Republican input. Given when some of our Republicans have done and said in the past, that is not reassuring. I maintain, watch and see what he’s said in the past, and what he’s saying now. He remains a big question mark as far as I’m concerned, until he proves himself one way or the other. I’m sure Olympia Snowe has her supporters, as does John McCain. Doesn’t mean they’re right for this country.

I wrote: "Given when...", and should have written "Given what..." in that post. Apologies for the typo.
