The great shame is that Hindus can’t seem to come to grip in a manner and form to condemn the barbaric rituals, beliefs, and practices that to this day plague their nation in the form of endemic and systemic casteism; dowry; wife-burning; and honor killings that are all traceable to core Hindu legends.
Such atrocities are not traceable to “legend” as you deem the Vedic scriptures, but to human frailty, ignorance (which knows no national, ethnic or cultural boundaries) and Islamic influence.
By the way, traditional dowries are not an evil thing. And the “honor killing” is solely perpetrated by Muslims. And much of the wife burning (which of course is blownup by the Hindu hating media) is also done by Muslims.
Don’t forget, India is about 15% Muslim. Take that away, plus their influence, and you have a much better India.
Regarding caste, that is a long topic in itself. Maybe time to start the Hindu Caucus as I have planned for a long time.
