(NASA Creates) A U.S. Climategate?

Hoaxes: Climate researchers and the Weather Channel's founder accuse NASA of the same data manipulation as Britain's Climate Research Unit. Were weather stations cherry-picked to hide the temperature drop?

We recently commented on how our space agency for two years refused Freedom of Information requests on why it has had to repeatedly correct its climate figures.

In a report on global warming on KUSI television by Weather Channel founder and iconic TV weatherman John Coleman, that reticence has been traced to the deliberate manipulation and distortion of climate data by NASA.

As Coleman noted in a KUSI press release, NASA's two primary climate centers, the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) in Asheville, N.C., and the Goddard Institute for Space Studies at Columbia University in New York City, are accused of "creating a strong bias toward warmer temperatures through a system that dramatically trimmed the number and cherry-picked the locations of weather observation stations they use to produce the data set on which temperature record reports are based."

The snow at Beaumont and Yucaipa was at around 2,500 feet and it was 3 inches deep. The entire population of the greater Los Angeles area needed chains to drive to Palm Springs for awhile Thursday morning.

Snow stranding 100 vehicles in mountains, brings rare Pass area travel restriction

Here in Sweden, they’re reporting that NASA says this has been the warmest decade ever, but that 2009 was also the coldest year ever. (”Climate change” replacing “global warming.”) They’re reporting it without qualification, and without reference to the well-known data manipulations.

They’re still stuck in last year, blowing off completely verified proof of fraud as just some side-issue stuff that seems to excite “skeptics.” It’s still “move along folks, nothing to see here.”

When they refer to NASA in support of the global warming scam, they’re primarily just talking about propaganda from Al Gore’s business partner and radical extremist eco-Nazi, James Hansen at Columbia University.

It’s the so-called “Goddard Institute for Space Studies” at Columbia - James Hansen.

I’ve been looking for info re: when this “institute” was set up, and when James Hansen became its head. Wild guess - likely sometime when Clinton was in office and Al Gore was VP. That’s when it’s reported that Gore got together with Enron and hatched the scheme.

The “institute” faced problems when Bush was elected, but one of the leftest Mafia DC law firms sued for “whistle blower” status, claiming that Bush admin’s questioning of Hansen was an effort to cover-up “the truth” about global warming.

While the Global Cooling Denialist are walking around with their heads in the sand, this type of stuff is occurring.

Cold killed record number of sea turtles

Volunteers, state biologists and conservation groups across Florida mounted an unprecedented rescue effort to save most of the 5,000 endangered sea turtles found near death during this month's cold snap. Despite their successes, roughly 1,000 died, representing the biggest setback recorded for the endangered animals.

"It will still be larger -- more mortalities -- than any other single event we've documented," said Allen Foley, a state biologist with expertise in sea turtle strandings.

Farms lost hundreds of millions due to cold-weather damage

“The only other time that I have seen damage this widespread was after the ‘89 freeze,” he said. “There are places in Florida that were hit as badly as 1989.”

Florida’s Gov. Charlie Crist has asked for an emergency declaration for all counties in the state because the damage is so extensive to agriculture.

“It gives you a sense of the magnitude of the loss,” Putnam said.

Thanks for your insight. “Global Warming” (morphed into “climate change”because the globe is cooling) was a bold attempt at redistribution of wealth and an attack on the capitalist system. It was an intentional lie to control industry and lives. It died in Copenhagen where the lying emails exposed the fraud and of course there was that pesky of contra data that went the wrong way. The main thing is to put it in “joke phase” where it belongs and wipe it out as a fraud.

BTW - All NOAA data is suspect now and they never will gain back trust from me. That is lost forever. But hey, I am just a hairy ape.

I agree with you there but I trust their lower 48 numbers more than I trust any global numbers.

I’ll tell you where that “sigh” belongs professor, but I’m a gentleman. AGW is a hypothesis nothing more, to impoverish me and my family, to transfer wealth to the Carbon Oligarchs (Enron/Soros/Gore) is a crime. If you insist on this course of action than I must consider you a conspirator to a crime.

So the last two times Florida had major fish kills were in 1977 and 1989. Guess what part of the solar cycle those kills occurred within ? Right at the end of the solar minimum.

Should probably clarify this for the thread. From what I saw looking at sunspots and comparing them to weather trends a few years ago, the earth in general is colder starting from the peak of the solar minimum to the peak of the solar maximum (upslope). It is warmer in general starting from the peak of the solar maximum to the peak of the solar minimum (downslope). The delay factor is one of the main causes. We can see a similar effect during summer and winter as the latter months of the changed seasonal sunlight exposure extreme generally have the greatest temperature extreme. However, this physical phenomenon is more intense with respect to the suns sunspot cycle because the early part of the solar active period has its sunspots located higher in latitude on the suns surface. So less activity enters the planetary rotational plane. That angle of exposure physics is related to the physics that affects our seasonal temperature differences. The fish kill and Florida freeze that occurred in 1989 happened during the end of the colder period near the peak of the solar maximum (upslope). The fish kill event in 1977 happened during the start of the upslope period. This appears to fit well for the last two solar cycles if your ignore metrics that have become politicized, such as Average Temperatures and El Ninos. Granted, long term planetary oceanic cycles and atmospheric pressure cycles can also affect temperatures, so in general the theory above applies to solar flux forcing. And if that theory is correct, we have 2 more years of cooling events to endure, assuming of course that the sun enters moderate to strong solar activity at its peak in Solar Cycle 24.

How does it go? A riddle wrapped in an enigma? The primary aim of their “redistribution of wealth” is to put as much money as possible in their own pockets. This is where the Big Mafia organized crime went. People do have a tendency to philosophize political about the whole thing, but it’s just ole fashioned political corruption designed to steel as much as possible.

I admit that I like Cog’s Geologic/Volcanic posts. (I was once a Geology major myself)

However, he admitted a long time ago that he had given up trying to makes folks on FR understand that AGW is real. I took it as code that we were too stupid to understand.

So he has become entrenched into an early position. Granted, back when the data looked like it was done reliably and we were all coming up to speed on the topic, it was a decent position to take. Now it just looks silly. Even the head climate scientist admit in private emails more then once that it is no longer warming. And of course the bad news keeps arriving every winter. Europe locked into another deep freeze and locally, well...

Cold killed numerous Keys manatees, bleached large stands of coral

Frigid waters in the Keys during this month's record cold snap killed manatees and corals, in addition to untold numbers of fish, biologists say.

"This is an unprecedented event as far as the Keys marine environment is concerned," said Billy Causey, southeast regional director for the National Marine Sanctuaries Program.

"This one will do down in the history books," Causey said. "We'll be cleaning up after this one for quite some time."

This year's record cold in mid-January lasted nearly twice as long as the deadly 1977-78 event, Causey said. "That was about three days," he said. "This one was a week to 10 days."

I noticed you asked simply for a percentage and you received ... a picture with attitude.

In response to your query, you may go to this site where you can find the percentages of the component parts of the atmosphere. Although you may find the global warmmongering alarmists exaggerating the microscopic contributions of humanity while downplaying the massive contributions of nature, be assured they realize the evidence they've been suckered becomes ever more apparent as the days pass.

Perhaps at the end of the day once the Senate is done with them, NCDC and GISS will have to offer up some bodies to be burnt at the stake. Inhofe and his associates are not playing games. Ignoring the FIO will be a key factor in deciding who broke the law as I currently see it.
