> You dont kill yourself because you are innocent.
What if you were innocent and disgraced, with no way to clear your name and everybody you ever cared about assuming your guilt?
I don’t think you can draw any conclusions on innocence-or-guilt based on the fellow’s suicide. Suicide is seldom as straightforward as that. And not everyone that commits suicide is “guilty” of something.
“What if you were innocent and disgraced, with no way to clear your name and everybody you ever cared about assuming your guilt?”
There is a way to clear your name. You have to speak out about your innocence. The truth is your best friend. This pervert’s guilt is what drove him to kill himself.
In 2005 there was an employee at my plant who WAS falsely accused of molesting his daughter's teenage girlfriend. He was arrested, thrown in jail, called a "monster" by the arraigning female judge, then ultimately acquitted after it was discovered the girl lied and was put up to the lie by Andy's ex-wife.........
Arrest, jail time, local newspaper headlines, public humiliation, condemnation by neighbors and suspicious looks from co-workers not knowing what to believe.........You do not fully recover from such horrors nor do you ever regain your reputation.
Andy committed suicide in the summer of 2007 for reasons unknown but I suspect the above incident added to the torment he must have been suffering from.
