I had an interesting insight last night. Shawn was asking about the double standard for Democrats relative to morality. It suddenly struck me that there is no double standard. Only Republicans are expected to be moral because they hold themselves to that standard. Democrats do not. There is no double standard and there is no hypocrisy. Democrats are scum and they admit it proudly.

Having the Democrats in control is like a never-ending game of Calvin ball.

A splendid pop culture simile! I've thought it myself.

Please Democrats do it! If you thought Tuesday was bad, November will be a blood bath.

Yep. As frustrated as I get about it all, I would rather be on the higher ground than down in the slop with the pigs.

For the Democrats, their ideology is their morality and the end justifies the means.

We should rank the idiot democrats in the US Senate. Number 1 would definitely be a toss up.

Dear Mr. Harkin. I know I'm talking to a drone, but you really really need to think this through. Keep in mind that the Democrats kept changing the rules to suit their own desires in Massachusetts. And it blew up in their faces. Case in point: Scott Brown.

Dare I say, that if the filibuster rule is changed, and the Republicans gain a majority again in the Senate, that you, and others in your party, would be braying like stuck mules. Ya know what I'm sayin'?

*The fool is too stupid to realise there will come a time when Democrats do not have control of the Senate and may need that rule. *

Could they not simply change it back between the election an the date when the new Congress is seated?

I suppose so Massachusetts seems to change their laws according to the whims of the party in charge.

LOL! Looks great, 21twelve. And it’s nice of you to include my byline, but it’s really not necessary.

Should such a thing pass, when the RAT party is in the minority they will sequel like a stuck pig, and demand the GOP reverse this ruling. The GOP will comply of course. Remember how the RATS squealed when the GOP was in control and "Balance of power" to them meant the minority had a say???

From Thursday, May 26, 2005 -
"Some of the changes, such as a more powerful executive branch, less powerful rank-and-file members of Congress and more pro-Republican courts, are likely to outlast the current president and GOP majority, they say. The Republican bid to ban the filibustering of judges made it easier for Bush to appoint conservatives to the Supreme Court and holds open the threat of future attempts to erode the most powerful tool available to the minority party in Congress.

Amusing how now “Elections should have consequences”. Five years ago they were all about how it would be wrong for the majority to pass something the minority didn’t like. The minority had to be heard, to the point where they actually had to control everything. And now this is his response to Brown’s election. I thought elections were supposed to have consequences. You got electoral consequences up the wazoo right now; what the hell are you complaining about?

Given the current political environment, this is yet another brilliant tactic by the libtards in the Senate. I guess the Iowa scumbag is of the opinion that their little gaggle of Marxists can just reverse the change once they are in the minority, as they always do... change the rules in the middle of the game.

I think they're miscalculating. Normally they can get away with that kind of stuff because honest people don't like to think about things like politics and bestiality. Plus the complicit media tailors their coverage to help the communists, so dirty pool like this doesn't usually make the average person's radar screen. But the situation right now is different. A large segment of the public is pissed, and pissed people pay attention. If they try something underhanded now, it just makes things worse for them in Novenmber.

So he’s reversing the reversal that he made before when he reversed his previous reversal. Or something.

Swap his phones and offices!

So he'll be sitting on his phone trying to place a call on his office? That should be entertaining to watch.
