I hope you are right! Please, no Mitt Romney, the creator of the disastrous MA health care boondoggle. Yuck.
Romney was responsible for health care in his state which is one reason why those voters didn’t want federal care. Even though the Heritage Foundation assisted Romney in its creation and that State’s democratic legislature has changed the Healthcare from its initial proposed guidelines, Romney gets credit or distain but it is still a STATE issue. Just because someone wants STATE healthcare doesn’t mean they want FEDERAL health care.
