(NECN: Washington) - Senator-Elect Scott Brown met this morning in Washington with Arizona Senator John McCain.
"I'm very pleased and proud to have Senator Brown come and visit with me," said McCain.
"Senator Brown represents, I think, the dreams and the hopes and the frustrations that Americans feel today," said McCain.
"The bill (health care) that was being pushed in Washington was not good for Massachusetts...a one size fits all program is not good for Massachusetts," said Brown.
"People want good government...they want us to solve problems," said Brown.
Brown beat Democrat Martha Coakley in a special election held in Massachusetts on Tuesday. Brown will fill the Senate seat left vacant by the death of Ted Kennedy.
Going after Scott Brown, are you?
Just when I have the recipe to defeat McCain.
It’ll save you from posting all the stupid threads.
You’re right. I forgot where I was.
We do?
Uh oh.
(Sorry, I'm just really skeptical.)
:o)
maybe all of the above and a splash of Holy water and a crucifix...simultaneously...
if that fail, we need to get the 'Supernatural' Colt and find a bullet...
[for the sarc impaired and any gov queerlurkers present, this is all hollywood fantasy talk]...
Anybody can meet with anybody, but I don’t think the people who make up the ‘Tea Party’ movement will be fooled by big government types.
