That this Socialist Progressive refers to himself as an "Evangelical" is an affront to the true meaning of the word and to Christians everywhere!
The truth is any and all of these so-called Evangelical Christians, are neither Christians nor Evangelicals.
To be such, they must accept the divinity of Jesus Christ (which most do not) and to qualify as Evangelicals is that they go to the lost everywhere to spread the truth of Jesus Christ only. NOT to spread Socialist/Progressive ideals!
Religion is just his gimmick. Every few years he comes out with a new “revelation”. The last time it was the emergence of “The Religious Left”.
Evangelicals are the most conservative people in America.
It is pretty helpful for liberals when they can cause this kind of confusion by mirroring back the words like Evangelical.
