Foreign cashiers give me the hardest time with the coupons. They HATE to see you get a good deal. Also they claim the coupon you have isn't for the product you want to purchase. I had a Fisher's Fusion coupon and the cashier was trying to tell me I couldn't use it because the product picture on the coupon looked a little different than what I was buying. I had to show them it said "Good for ANY Fisher product" and further explain that it is a little tough to put ALL the product pics on the coupon.
Fortunately, I know which cashiers won't give me a hard time with stupid objections.
I think the point was objecting to bringing in foreigners on a visa to work at a grocery store. Not how well they scan items. lol.
There aren’t any Publix around here though
