US President Barack Hussein Obama has had a number of difficult weeks during his first year in the White House. Right after he took office, he had to LAUNCH a week full of partisan bickering over his YET UNKNOWN economic stimulus package combined with a tax scandal surrounding Tom Daschle, the CROOKED TAX CHEAT Obama had hoped would lead his health care reform team.

A wag the dog event, imho, is where the President, in order to escape public disgrace, creates a foreign enemy and declares war to get the pressure of of his own misdeeds.

In President Obama's case, I sincerely believe he will become incredibly hawkish and attack (probably Iran) one of America's very real enemies in order to distract the public.
