He is vulnerable and can be beaten with the right candidate.

Upstate needs its own state.

Imagine someone on the Senate Finance Committee that understood capitalism and freedom

Since Kudlow supported TARP, you must be imagining someone else. Who did you have in mind?

Actually, DJ, I recall Kudlow briefly considering (close to a year ago) a run against Dodd.

The link that you posted appears to be broken (I get a message that it doesn’t exist). Could you please post the link again? Thank you.

I’ve been saying that for years. The cash drain to downstate is unsupportable. One is seven in the Metro area is on welfare. The subway system is a huge drain. Etc,etc. The Libs in NYS are out of control. I heard this morning that Paterson is going to pitch a pile of money to a local community college for an upgrade in physical plant, an action which surely could be put off until the financial picture in NYS stabilizes. sd

Kudlow may need a bodyguard to protect him from Schumer rushing the cameras

I don’t know, but now’s the time to take kamikaze runs against ALL available Dem-held seats. Schumer thinks his obscene warchest should scare off challengers, but we should not let it be a deterrent.

I think I remember it being discussed once or twice on Kudlow's Saturday morning radio show on WABC, and it was well before Dodd withdrew. But he could have homes in both NY and Conn. The eligibility requirements seem pretty loose, especially in NY.

I want Kudlow to run simply because watching our 3rd Party malcontents claim Schumer = Kudlow will be amusing.

actually, the guys who supported TARP can make a strong case that a) the large banks have largely paid it back with interest b) the diversion of TARP to GM and the Big Unions- etc was NOT part of the stated intent or original bill

Paulson and obama lied, the economy died

The problem with New York is that, as a result of NYC, there are twice as many takers as there are producers in the state. Yes, those producers will produce three times as much money, but they still only have one vote apiece while the leeches have two or more votes each depending on how many precincts they can get to in a day.

Kudlow is a Free Market Capitalist. OTOH, Schumer has enjoyed Wall Streets support in the past.

Considering the personal demons Kudlow has overcome and predicting Schumer wouldn't mind that bringing up...this campaign is guaranteed to get down and dirty.

Shudder.

I agree with that. Murray and Wyden are others that need top tier challengers. We need to hit them so hard in so many places that they can’t figure out which ones to put money behind.
