Require a license for gun possession.
The only difference he's not a democrat. Baby steps in the right direction.

I'd like to see the questionnaire he completed to see what his other choices were and a more up-to-date response might be helpful.
Remember he had to get elected in MA to be where he is today.
He’s no touchdown but he does move us marginally to the right. In a hard left state I can’t imagine doing any better right now.
Now we need to concentrate on some conservative touchdowns.

We have a local guy who has to run as a Republican (beause he is one) in a State Senate district that has a large leftwingtard contingent.
He wins by giving them lipservice on guns, but so far I don't recall that he's ever voted for any gun control bills since this is Virginia and gun control never comes up for a vote!
The leftwingtards appear to be satisfied with it.
Senator Brown probably has the same situation in Massachusetts.
There are a lot of good conservatives out there and doing well. My conservative republican congressional choice is leading the incumbant democrat by around 10% in early polling. http://www.walbergforcongress.com/Home.aspx
I think Marco Rubio could snatch victory from Charlie Christ and Pete Hoekstra is the strong man in the Michigan Governor’s race.
Yes a big improvement over Kennedy and a crucial win to break the 60 vote lock the dems had.
But we have boobs on this forum already calling for him to be a POTUS candidate.
NO FREAKING THANK YOU.
And anyone who touts Brown as the elixir that stopped the liberal attack on the country is an Alinsky sleeper, trying to lull FReepers into complacency.
That's idiotic.
As stupid as the Democrats have been in the last year trying to ram unwanted legislation down the throats and up the @$$e$ of the American people, they haven’t doubled down on stupid by trying to ban any guns, or at least they haven’t put significant effort into it. They apparently learned their lesson in 1994. We should all be glad for that.
Exactly. By MA standards he's a foaming at the mouth radical reactionary conservative, so his win is a win for us, both relative to the alternative, and for what congressional Democrats must be thinking now. But that doesn't mean he should be the presidential nominee. It'd be like nominating Willard the Giant RAT. Plus, after serving in the state legislature and only one to three years in the Senate, he'd be woefully unprepared for the presidency. Oh...wait...
Right. He Ran in Massachusetts. Also, notice the MSM doesn’t mention his Reserve status as a Lt. Colonel
I gotta admit though, some of the things re: RKBA above are the same positions McCain has. It's also why I had to not only hold my nose, but medicate myself a bit, before pulling the lever for him.
As a Second Amendment absolutist, I'm not that hopeful that Congress will pull it's head out of it's arse because one Moderate Republican took over an Liberal Socialists seat.
