I guess you missed the debate quotes from Scott Brown earlier in the thread in which he said he would use his power as the 41st Republican Senator to negotiate he and Mitt Romney's "better" form of socialism along the lines of their Massachusetts socialized medicine scheme.
"I can do better. We can go down there and hold the line. We can go back to the drawing board on health care. As the forty-first Senator I can tell them to do better, and try again and get something like we have here in Massachusetts."

We'll see how that plays out. For now, the Dem proposals are DOA. So are many other aspects of the Obama agenda.

Great post. The big picture is always important, but the real truth resides in the gritty details of a politicians record. People are still running towards this northeast liberal. Lets see how long it takes for the mob to start running away from him.
