Yesterday’s election was a referendum, among other things, on Rahm’s heavy handed manner of forcing through legislation regardless of whether the public wants it or not. Obama should fire him this week if he wants to salvage any credibility.

I would be stunned if Obama fires Emanuel. The Chicago Machine created Obama. They own him. He can’t fire Emanuel.
