“...”involuntary martyrs”...”

Does this refer to the poor sap who’s been tied to the seat and steering wheel of a car bomb and sent on a jihadist mission against his or her will or the random, however intended, victim of the blast itself?

There’s something about it that tells me it can’t be both.

That reminds me of another possibilty for “involuntary martyrs”...the victims of so-called Islamic honor killings. If these people are considered martyrs at all...they’re MURDER victims and no belief system in the CIVILIIZED world can justify their murders.

Of course it's both. They're both dying in the service of Allah's jihad involuntarily.

The difference is the poor sap that's been forced to drive the car bomb knows that his death is imminent. The random bystander victim gets a surprise meeting with Allah. Or whoever’s waiting for Muzzies on the other end.
