Senate Panel Approves Holder Nomination For AG
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said he supports Holder’s view that the country needs to interrogate terrorism suspects based on American values.
“I am confident this new attorney general will have a balanced approach and I look forward to working with him. I know he’s made mistakes and so have I,” Graham said.

USC to get new business building
Funds will come from leasing current building to Department of Justice
An estimated 250 Justice Department employees working in different locations near Washington, D.C., will be relocated to Columbia over an unspecified period.
Graham said U.S. taxpayers will save $42 million by having Justice Department employees working in South Carolina, which has lower costs than Washington.
“It was almost too good to be true,” Graham said of the plan. “But it proved to be true.”
Graham, a Republican, praised U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Deputy Attorney General David Ogden, both of whom were appointed by President Obama, a Democrat.
“I can’t thank Eric Holder and David Ogden enough,” Graham said, adding they offered their support for a leasing plan that was initiated during the administration of George W. Bush.
In my view, Scott Brown's debate highlighting his objection to the trial and the soft treatment of the Christmas Day bomber volted him into the lead as much his opposition to passing obamacare. That debate was awesome.He deserves more accolades for his position. He is a moderate Republican but a powerful voice for national security--and may be the harbinger of other Republicans in the blue state even more to his right.

Lindsey only cares about Lindsey. His resurgence to our side is only caused by what is going on in Mass, and the censures he is receiving from the SC REC groups.
We all will need to thank the Bay State voters if Scott is elected because no other words will be able to describe the effects of “The Scott heard ‘round the world.”
That’s true - this may be enlightened self interest on Graham’s part. In addition, there has been discussion of sending some of these guys to SC, either for imprisonment or trial, so I’m sure he’s hearing from his constituents on that one.
Just to be clear, that isn't what 0bama said.
He said he wanted to shut down Guantánamo.
As in all of it.
He thinks a fully intact US military base would be suitable obeisance to Castro...
