I am holding my nose and watching Hardball. They are basically conceding the election to Brown and painting Coakley as just running a bad campaign. Boston Globe reporter said she would rather eat glass than campaign. He said Brown, by contrast, ran a very effective ad yesterday showing him walking through Southie shaking hands. Looks good for the good guys judging by the astonishment of Chris the Tingle and crowd
Done!Done!Done! Another one under the bus!
Well, yes, Coakly ran a horrible campaign, and Brown a smart one. But they’re all ignoring the elephant in the living room—democratic, leftist politicians running roughshod over everyday Americans.
It’s not just Barack Obama and his arrogance. Think about Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi insulting the Tea Partiers and Town Hall Protestors, who were not Republican operatives, no matter how many times they and Chris Matthews said they were. Think about Ben Nelson and his special deal—bribe—for his yea vote, a vote his constituents were dead set against. And just this past week Obama gave a bribe to the unions so they won’t have to pay taxes on their health care that the rest of us will, so he can keep them voting ‘d’. The whole health care, cap and trade, and stimulus bill passing that so many Americans honestly oppose is why. All of this, imho, is why Brown will defeat Coakley tomorrow.
Let the driveby media and the democratic party (is there even a difference?) ignore that at their peril.
Scott Brown’s pending win is a repeat of New Jersey and Virginia, and another November is looming. The dems really need to take the results of this election and rethink and restratigize, or they are toast. I’m really hoping they believe their own hype.
