Maybe they *aren't* supporting him because of his position on abortion! He's no better than Coakley, except he doesn't believe in partial-birth abortion. If he wins this election, it won't be God that was on his side, pulling for him. Until Republicans across the board vote pro-life, the party doesn't have a chance in my opinion.

Whether or not the Republican party has a future, it’s still better off without the Coakley woman in the US Senate, and so are the people of Massachusetts.

Your post and your tagline are contradictory.

Of course it blows chunks that Brown is a pro-choicer, but the bottom line is that we are not, at this stage of the game, going to get a pro-life Senator out of New England. So we can give seats like this to pro-partial birth harpies who say Catholics should give up working in emergency rooms, or we can take what we can get and kill the abortion-boosting health care bill.

BS. Coakley is better? Speak for yourself. We need anything we can get right now. I don’t want obongo and his Marxists in there for the rest of my life. If I have to concede a few things, so be it. I’ll take the better of the 2. At least he isn’t for partial birth abortions. FYI, I know several die hard Republicans that are pro-choice. No I don’t agree with them, but I can’t force them to change their minds. They are all against PBA’s, they just think Roe v Wade is here to stay and they believe it should be in the hands of the states, not the Federal government. I’ve said to them many times, “ then you aren’t a true conservative”.
