I am sorry but I do not intend to donate anything.
Why?
1. No matter how much the US gives we are still hated by the people we are helping and quite frankly I am tired of it. Let the UN and the rest of the world take care of it-it is about time they get used to not relying on the Uncle Sugar to bail their butts out anyway.
2. I will not donate to the vast majority of these “charities”, and especially not ones associated with the Obamao administration. I like to be reasonably assured that money I donate to a specific cause is used for the purpose intended and not end up “diverted” into their general fund like the Red Cross tried to do after 9/11.

I spent 10 days in New Orleans right after Katrina hit. I didn’t see a single Haitian soldier patrolling the streets. I didn’t see any care packages from Haiti being distributed. Let them take care of themselves, if they didn’t help us.
I haven’t read any of the many comments but will simply say: “We’ve given enough via our taxes. Now is the time for those who don’t pay taxes to step forward.”
