I don’t think we have much to worry about in our lifetimes.
I was reading an article in National Geographic and one scientist thought it could be possible it may never blow like it has in the past again.

He is in the decided minority - a minority of one. There is a million year track record, and the quakes now are just the 400 cu mile magma chamber filling up and pushing the surface slowly up. Eventually something will give and then 400 cu miles of stuff comes out.

Never trust NG for anything ever. They lie a lot.
