It is funny, and kind of sad, that the media keeps going with this story line again and again.

What did the Senate ever do to pass legislation when one party didn’t have 60 votes? It’s like the media just assumes that you can’t pass any legislation unless you can do it with single-party domination?

Instead, why aren’t the media running the story that Obama will have to go back to what he pledged in the campaign, and actually WORK with Republicans to pass a bill.

That was always the “right” thing when the Republicans were in charge — but the media gives Obama a pass when he says he can’t accomplish anything unless he has a bullet-proof democratic majority in the Senate.

It’s very pleasant that they’re having this problem, to say the least.

Good point. Add it to all the other grounds for unconstitutionality if they try this.

The last vote the House took on this topic garnered 220 votes in favor. They needed 218. We need to peel away only 3 democrat votes to kill this bill in the House. EVERY House member is up for reelection in November. Every democrat needs to be reminded that a yes vote for this bill is a guaranteed NO vote for their November candidacy.

“Maybe the GOP isn’t the only stupid party out there any more.”

Come on. The RATS have always been stupid. They just pulled over a huge fast one last Nov. that really lurched us leftward. Now we’re seeing the nation correct - and it’s a huge sigh of release. Both parties need reformation from the stupidity of a professional political class (how could we have allowed such a thing??) - but our target has rightly been the Republicans whose base has been traditionally Conservative, and as such should not be allowing such things, and who should be presenting a stark alternative to the RATS. At last we’re seeing some of that.

Thanks for that important clarification. It’s all too easy to pass by these socialist press presumptions.

I agree. Case in point Bush's last press conference last January. I was at an auto dealer getting my car fixed and happen to catch a bit of GW Bushes last press conference in January.

It was just infuriating.

It was like "Where the heck has this been the last 4 years" If the Bush of the last press conference has shown up at a press conference say 2xs a month for the last 4 years, we might not be in this mess now. Bush, by listening to his political handlers serious screwed up. Rush Limbaugh told them. Let Bush be Bush, but no they listen to the inept GOP political handlers instead.

The GOP leadership needs to purge it political handlers. Pretty obvious the Leftists made a calculated effort to get "moderates" in potions where then could manipulate the GOP's PR machine.

Steven Schmidt of the McCain campaign is the prime example of people who should be fired an NEVER work on another GOP campaign ever.

I haven’t seen anyone post this theory yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a Brown win in Massachusetts results in the Marxist Dems making a desperate attempt to court a RINO like Olympia Snowe to switch parties by bribing her with hundreds of millions of dollars in tax payer money. Granted, it’s highly unlikely they would succeed because I don’t think Snowe or any Republican would do something so stupid and corrupt at this point, but I certainly wouldn’t put it past the kamakaze Dem party to do whatever they think they need to advance their putridly evil agenda.

Nonetheless, I see the glass half full (not half empty) and I’m pumped about the shot that may well be heard around the world tomorrow night if Brown takes Massachusetts like the polls and news seem to suggest!

So what are they going to do, endorse Republicans in 2010?

Union scum should be bowing and scraping to any Republican for their pro-business positions.

Without business providing jobs, unions are nothing. Of course they're a negative drag anyway, and negative is less than nothing.

If the Senate version is passed, the Unions will go apeshit.

The Senate bill according to sources is DOA in the House. Brown wins and Pelosi has no other play but to try and pass the Senate version. She has to avoid the filibuster in the Senate. So question is what is the exit strategy Nancy, Harry and Barry? Will they take weeks, twist arms and try and hit the 218 number? Will Nancy not allow it to go to the floor for a vote? Bad and worse scenarios for Obama and no other way to say it HUMILIATING. What is Obama left to do, demagogue against the Republicans, blew that wad already Barry. Sucks to be too cute by 1/2. Barney Frank is right, Brown wins tomorrow and the ObamaCare is dead, there will be no nuclear option, that is red meat thrown to the Soros crowd. They won't go that route, it would drag out into the Summer and into election season and will be picked apart. Let's hope Brown wins, maybe manna from heaven and a monkey wrench thrown into the steamroller and seizing it up.

What is still a possibility is that he doesn’t win...

Tomorrow will tell...

Watch for Coakley to be told to not concede the race and challenge every aspect of the results...
