Thank you but the stuff about "choice architecture," nudge, and "libertarian paternalism" came from information in the book reviews.

I got interested in Sunstein from two radio interviews about his book "Republic.com."

He advocated government forcing people (conservatives) to consider opposing views. And he did mean forcing.

One interviewer asked him if liberals should also be forced to considerate opposing views -- he had to think a bit about it and then said something like, "Yes, I suppose they should, I never considered that." At least that's what it sounded like and that's how I remember it.

Fascinating.

Suppose we “force” Sunstein to consider Communism, or Capitalism, or Atheism, or Agnosticism, or Catholicism? (Just so happens my particular “brand” of faith.)

How on earth would THAT pass Constitutional muster?

Stalin would be proud.
