I think the comments and utter lack of any compassion from some freepers is even more disturbing.
I don’t think it’s really a lack of compassion. Many of us remember all too well what the DemocRATS and their “media” did to President Bush after Katrina. Many are all still smarting from that unfair beating we took. IMHO, the response to Katrina would have been EXACTLY the same regardless of whether the DemocRATS or Republicans had been in office at the time.
Could not agree more. Events like this bring out the loons, and it is embarassing.
