Maybe if Coakley did her job and locked up the rapists there would be fewer rape victims who needed help in the emergency rooms!

a state law which says "No person shall make or publish, or cause to be made or published, any false statement in relation to any candidate for nomination or election to public office, which is designed or tends to aid or to injure or defeat such candidate."

Seems to me that said law would have been created by the lopsided congress of the state of MA. Time to Alinsky the D party and make them live up to the laws they created.

Brown read the book too! Works both ways.

The Democrats can not tolerate an honest election

Rudyard Kipling had the answer a long time ago: "Order the guns..."

America -- a great idea, didn't last.

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12

Amen and AMEN!

PRAY for this election! This is indeed a war against spiritual darkness, but the battle belongs to the LORD!

Brown should use this as an example of how the Democrat party has descended into dishonest socialism. It’s not the Democrat party any more.

I don’t understand how such a law is enforceable.

So an outright falsehood is grounds for a lawsuit? Ok, what constitutes proof something is false. For example, Candidate A. claims Senate bill X. will do such and so. His source is the Heritage Foundation. His opponent, Candidate B. claims it will do no such thing. His source is the Center for American Progress. Who decides which version is true and which isn’t?

“Death panels” was a good example. No one questioned that the bill would lead to some sort of government rationed care, yet look how noisily “death panels” was condemned as a “lie,” even thought it had ample basis in fact.

Even if it’s a question of something more clear cut like Brown’s complaint here, suppose he loses Tuesday. Is he going to call for a new election since voters were lied to and the process was “corrupted?” If not, what happens to Coakley? Nothing? Then why bother having the law in the first place?

I’m just not following how this law is workable. I hate losing elections to lies as much as anyone, but limiting political freedom is speech is rarely a good idea.

She is doing what demoncrats do best...lie.

No. What Demoncrats to best is accuse conservatives of lying, of being racist, of being mean, etc.

What they do 2nd best is lie, race-bait, victim-bait, pander, etc.

I don’t know what the rationale is for a delay. I would go before a judge at home on Monday with an application for an injunction prohibiting further distribution and mandating a retraction. The publicity surrounding this, alone, would be enormous. It would, at a minimum, counter the effect of the ad. The Brown team knows that they could do this, so don’t give them too much credit for T fortitude.

Beside the point. The objective isn't to win a court case, the objective is to exploit the news media to expose the lie.

The rats understand this sorta technique.

There should be TV and radio adds out on Monday.

Democrat candidate Martha Coakley has proven herself to be a liar, can you really believe anything a liar says. And for that matter, can you really count on any promise made to you by a liar.

It’s time for the hope and change that only honesty can bring.

Vote for Scott Brown.

PRAY for this election!

Religion mixing with the political process? (gasp!!!!) Haven't you heard the new quasi-rule that this is forbidden? Prepare for a knock on your door during the hours of darkness.

He should file a suit in the morning so it will be THE headline going into Tuesday so Mass. voters will know he is not taking the lie sitting down.

Every time you see this kind of hysterical lash-out in blind, self-destructive fury ad, you know they know they have lost.

The really fun part is still to come if/when Brown wins. Then the RATS will be faced with the dilemma of whether to certify the election and seat him expeditiously, destroying their veto-proof super majority in the process; or sit on their hands dragging out the process, showing themselves beyond doubt to be the corrupt excrement that they truly are.
