President Barack Obama will campaign with struggling Massachusetts Senate candidate Martha Coakley Sunday afternoon in Boston as she finds herself in a dogfight with or even behind Republican Scott Brown ahead of Tuesday’s special election. Some political observers say it’s not worth the risk of putting his prestige on the line if he goes and Coakley still loses.
But the risks are too great to stay away. This isn’t the governor’s race in New Jersey or Chicago trying to get the Olympics.
A Coakley loss could destroy Obama’s health care agenda.

The truth is that Obama’s name is really on the ballot (Coakley’s been saying she supports everything he stands for), and MA voters plan to give him the boot. Even union people paid to hold those Coakley signs are voting for Brown.
He is going to get down on his knees and beg. You need me ..You know you need me. Why hast thou forsaken me.
I live near a catholic church and I have my car parked right out front with my big - Scott Brown for US Senate - in my back windshield. It would appear God himself approves that message.
I wonder if Brown’s election will really kill the Health care Bill or force one of the Maine girls out of hiding
Mom in Boston is getting constant phone calls with recorded messages for Coakley.
The voices are those of Obama, Bill Clinton, and other famous democrats.
I am surprised they didn’t dig up old tapes of Ted Kennedy and splice together a message from HIM too!
It is disgusting.

That would backfire for me. I cannot stand to get telemarket calls, especially at the number your mom is getting.

It DID backfire! LOL! Mom was for Coakley and now she is going to vote for Brown just for SPITE!
Also, of course, "Yours Truly" set her STRAIGHT on Coakley's stand on abortion. Mom is a good practicing Catholic, and thought that a vote for a woman democrat with an Irish sounding name was enough to ensure a pro-life stance.

And isn’t this also the ball and chain’s birthday? You know she has to be spitting nails that he had to campaign for some ditzy old white broad instead of praising her for being born (at least in the presence of any press).
