He really did. Sometimes I watch Hardball just to see what the ‘enemy’ is saying. I’ve heard things such as that posted. However, that actual statement was recorded by David Horowitz and he posts no quotes that aren’t actually in the MSNBC transcript.
I think we can bet that the Dem machine up there is hard at work trying to figure out how they can steal the election without leaving any finger prints behind.
Exactly - it’s the same old MSM double standard and hypocrisy. Just look at how Pelosi attacked the “culture of corruption” during the last campaign. But what’s she done about crooks like Charley Rangel, Geithner, Richardson, and all the appointees of Obama who have been rejected for various scandals? NOTHING! I think there have been at least five to date. And when did we hear any denunciation of the blatant bribery of congressmen? Such as Ben Nelson, Mary Landrieu (the “Louisiana Purchase”) Bernie Sanders, Bill Nelson (FL), and a dozen others?
Good point. One has to keep up with the latest state-of-the art methods of political fraud. I think Matthews is behind the times and only remembers the MA methods of fraud when he practiced it as a hack on behalf of his mentor, Tip O’Neill.

Good points. I think Matthews is stupid and personifies the liberal MSM propaganda blitz. But things are changing - look at the abysmal ratings of MSNBC! People are wising up and have more media choices now than ever before. And they know when the liberal MSM thinks they are mindless dopes who will unquestionably fall for their party line - those days of only NBC, CBS, and ABC are gone!
Absolutely. The MSM were always biased but more subtle. Now we have the in-your-face style of Matthews, Olbermann, and Maddow which specializes in character assassination, slander and innuendo. These people and their liberal associates are shameless and will say anything to trash those who don’t spout the liberal party line. At least we’re seeing them for what they really are!
I also heard that if Brown wins the Dems will stall his installation for twenty days, which they can do on rules technicalities, so his won’t be the decisive vote in breaking a filibuster on ObamaCare. We can be sure that every dirty trick in the book will be used against him.
