There are an average of 3-4 magnitude 5+ earthquakes worldwide every day, and a magnitude 6+ earthquake on average every 2-3 days worldwide.

We’re just seeing the “attention effect” - people that don’t normally pay attention to routine earthquakes suddenly are.

True, it's just an interesting pattern ... Venzuela, then north to Haiti, then south to Argentina .... if it's a pattern it would jump north to Memphis.

Anyway ... not a big deal.
