I don’t think that’s really the point is it? If you’re the guy on the ground dying of thirst a helicopter with American marines on board with water is a gift from above, whatever they’re flying in.
The reporter could have just written “helicopters,” or he could have taken a few extra minutes and found out what they actually were. Instead, he tried to sound like he knew what he was talking about. IMO, superficial knowledge is the biggest problem with that profession.
