Poll: Independents abandoning Deval Patrick in droves (Massachusetts)
Boston Herald ^ | January 16, 2010 | Jessica Van Sack

Independent voters have deserted Gov. Deval Patrick, an ominous sign in the first-term incumbent’s quest for re-election this year, according to a new Suffolk University/7News poll.

“There’s a void, similar to the void that was filled with Scott Brown, that appears to be opening up with independents in this poll,” said David Paleologos, director of Suffolk University’s Political Research Center.

“That certainly leaves the door open for (state Treasurer) Tim Cahill or (GOP candidate) Charlie Baker, given that the independents are fed up with (Patrick.)”

If the GOP finds a capable candidate, Massachusetts will again elect another Republican Governor to keep the Democrats on Beacon Hill honest.

Hopefully the Republicans are showing Cadillac Deval and Coakley side-by-side as often as possible.

Massachusetts has long been proud that the “Shot heard round the world”, that began the American Revolution was fired HERE.
Let Massachusetts be the location where the Second American Revolution began.
We should be so favored.

I don’t know a lot about Deval Patrick, I know his chief political adviser is David Axelrod (same as Obama’s), what has he done (or not done) to anger so many people in MA? Go Scott Go!!!

As I generally say about liberals, it is a bumper-sticker mentality. “Change,” “Hope” and “Yes We Can” from political candidates or “Equality to a man, why lower myself” and “A well-behaved woman ends up like Hillary” from the far-left mind has little substance, is void of realistic importance and generally exposes them as superficial blockheads.

This build up of discontent among independents in MA is really helping Scott Brown. The libs don’t get it that it is also on a national level as well.
