The number that I hear is one cop to 1,500 citizens. If you throw in all of the alphabet soup federal agencies, it’d still be 1 to 1,000 or more. Not all of those wearing badges can be counted on to fire on their fellow citizens if the SHTF. Sadly, some of can be.
And likewise, sadly, some gun-owners might take their frustrations at politicians out on a badge. Both sides giving their own side a bad name.
