Haitians, who flee from political strife, coups, the recent earthquake, get warned that their stay here is only temporary, yet those crossing illegally from south of the border get to stay with no reprise, and the promise of permanent amnesty?

If I were a Haitian, I would move heaven and earth for the opportunity to live in nothing more than abject poverty here in the United States.

Nothing short of death would deter me.

I would come here, kiss the ground, thank God for the opportunity to live here illegally and pray to God every day that the United States never turns into the corrupt socialist stinkpot prison that I had the pleasure of escaping.

I would go to Little Haiti in Miami and gather all of the entrepreneurs who have successfully built businesses there and other professional Haitians, and send them a simple message.

“You have earned much here, now it is time to give back and help rebuild your country. Nobody else is going to do it for you.”

Sounds like you want to welcome the entire island
