one still photo captures only an instant in time

none of us here can “know” what was happening before or after that photo was taken

It was the LA Times and/or the photographer or someone associated with the publication of that photo who gave the world the “looter” caption

maybe it was made up out of thin air, maybe not..... maybe we will know more later maybe not (about that specific scene)

but we DO know that it was not anyone on FR who gave the photo the “looter” caption -— it was the very liberal media

all we “know” right now is that (1) the LA Times is reponsible for the assertion that a store was being looted and that the guy in the Obama t-shirt was taking part as a “looter” (2) there is no evidence whatsoever in the photo of any food or water being secured on the scene... (3) so it is at least quite plausible to suspect that the photographer saw many other kinds of items being “looted” from the store...... items that were/are unrelated to survival??

b/c it is d——d difficult to believe that liberal editors and photographers for the LA Times go around terming people “looters” who are desperately securing water, food and baby formula

maybe the LA Times liberals blew this one, or maybe the caption is a good characterization of what was going on before and after the photo was snapped, maybe just beyond frame etc.

one thing we do know is that the original use of the word “looter” in relation to the Obama-guy in this photo came from the MSM and not from anyone on this thread

I can’t remember a time when I trusted the LA Times for anything and I don’t intend to start now.

After a calamity like this many more, possibly thousands, will die due to lack of water and sanitation. If I’m caught in a similar circumstance I’m putting a rock through the nearest standing structure to see what can be scrounged.

I don't recall stating that it was anyone on FR that wrote the caption on the picture, it was the LA Times caption I was referring to.

If those in the photo had been looting, their hands were empty, they should have published a pic showing them looting.
