Why do you want to take the young people out of their home country. They are the ones who could pull their country out of their misery.
We think we are doing well by bringing people here but we are raping these countries of their future when we do that.
If anything we need to be sending the Haitian immigrants who have been successful here in the US back over there to help build the country.
Babies and young children (especially the orphans) will not be able to do anything.
If they were raised and educated here, they could do a lot more.
I’m not advocating that our government do anything. I’m just wondering if there are people that could adopt these children. Makes me even think about my own situation and how I could help. Now is not the time for us. I have to have surgery for a hip injury.
