On the talk radio show, "Nightside With Dan Rea," Coakley labels Rudy Giuliani as a Yankee fan, then goes on to bizarrely describe Brown supporter Curt Schilling, the great former Red Sox pitcher, as a Yankee fan as well.

For those who don't know who Curt Schilling is, he is a famous Red Sox pitcher.
This woman seem intent on insulting Mass citizens.
Coakley is an idiot if she thinks that comment will get her votes.
That's okay; Uncle Barack has already paid ACORN to do it for Cousin Pookie...even if, by some miracle, Cousin Pookie will have managed to do it for himself already.
This is akin to Scott Brown claiming that Ted Kennedy was a Ronald Reagan Republican.
I’ll add to that, though, secretly some Democrats hope Brown wins, so they can abandon the abhorrent health insurance reform. They are being strong-armed, and know their constituents deplore it. They would like nothing better than to walk away.
No doubt, deservedly so. I’m just saying he had a long career before that, including the WS.
I condemn it for all players and teams, wish no one had been doing it, but you cannot start introducing any asterisk without a comprehensive review of every player, team, and record in the past 15+ yrs (not that it would even be possible to do so).Farther back than that. Or, who'd like to lead the perp walk for the Greenie Generations. Who were popping things that are no more demonstrable for bumping up what could be done at the plate or on the mound. (Reality check: If just piling on the muscle mass could turn you into a long-range bombardier, Arnold Schwarzenegger could have busted a few home run records.)
I like to remember Curt as a great Phillies pitcher. That he was. And he pitched magnificently in the 1993 postseason, too.
Not to quibble because you are correct, but as a side note the Red Sox originally had Schilling in their farm system in the 1980s. They traded him to Baltimore as part of the deal to get Mike Boddicker. Schilling then went to the Phillies, Diamondbacks, etc.
Boddicker was a good pitcher, but how about having Clemens and Schilling in your rotation in the 1990s?
I don’t see what the problem is: He’s wearing red sock in that picture of him throwing in a Phillies uniform.
or he’s scared of blood
I hate most things Red Sox.
I liked Schilling as he was always a Patriot...and showed his conservatism on a regular basis...
...but the flawed logic that if Rudy Giulliani is backing Brown...and if Schilling is backing Brown...then Schilling must be a Yankee fan like Rudy...is just too stupid to believe.....
either Coakley thinks the people of MA are total @$$hole$...or Coakley is a total @$$hole....and the answer is the latter
Thing is, I recognize the symptoms from 35+ years ago when I had a bad case of it from the stress of being promoted too many levels too far too fast. At the time, I called it burn-out.
This woman isn't a dim bulb, she's a wet match in a deep, dark cave.
Looks like Kurt Grove has been busy.
I thought it was obvious...a shot at Coakley's evident ignorance of anything outside a Planned Parenthood office. I doubt there was anyone except Howie Carr in New England who enjoyed watching the Ravens kick the Patriots' *ss last weekend as much as I did...and I really couldn't care less about sports.
It was both: Yankees in the ALCS and Cards in the World Series.
OMG. The DNC should ban her from talking until the election.
Agree 100%.
Curt has already written a brief column for National Review online about her incredibly stupid remarks mocking Brown for standing outside of Fenway Park to shake hands with fans. I look for Schilling to be all over the radio in Boston just hammering away at her the next few days.
SHe’s a lot like Nancy Pelosi but with (what LOOKED like) a REAL job......these kind of careless, undisciplined (even for a lunatic Leftist)statements must be increasingly embarrassing for her supporters to hear about—but hey, she oughta be carefully about entering the fray of who supports what team, etc. and all that BS-—that’s Hillary Clinton territory.
Having said all that, a side note-—notice how this Coakley woman physically suggests a kind of younger version of Geraldine Ferraro? I gotta think there’s something there.......
