Next I suppose a Catholic can’t defend in court someone who has confessed to him that he is in fact a murderer because he might go free. Or is that prohibited now? Would the lawyer be committing a sin? What is a lawyer’s duty?

It's very simple, really: close all Catholic hospitals in MA.

Oh, wait. The Catholic Hospital Association supports Obamacare.

I know, Cardinal O'Malley (no relation) should give Catholic Hospital Association out of his diocese. (As if that would happen)

I can't imagine this will help her chances in Catholic-heavy Massachusetts.

If this isn't what pushes Catholics over the edge to not vote dem, I don't know what will.

Coakley is even out of step with Obama:

Obama Reaches Out Before Vatican Trip

Obama sought to reassure Catholic health-care workers that they would not be forced to perform abortions and other procedures that violate the Church's teachings. Obama said he is a "believer in conscience clauses" and supports a new policy that would "certainly not be weaker" than the rules in place before the expansion late in President George W. Bush's administration.

“...Coakley: Catholics Shouldn’t Work in ER’s...”

Catholics: Caokley shouldn’t work in politics.

If any members of my family or close friends or me need serious ER treatment, I would be please to have well trained Catholics handling our ER care versus pro 0b0z0/Reid/Pelosi/Coakley liberals, who think our world is over populated.

It was especially sickening when she cited "separation of Church and State" in reference to private individuals working at private hospitals (many of which were established by Catholic charities).

These liberals cite separation of Church and State, and then define the STATE to include EVERYTHING, so "logically" they believe that the CHURCH must be separated from EVERYTHING.

I wonder if she just had a Freudian slip...

Upcoming plans under Obamacare, perhaps? No religous folk working in a government health system?

Another side of socialized medicine: government will tell health care workers where they can work and what type of work they can do. We need primary care docs...you will do a family practice residency. You are a Catholic...you will not work in an ER.

MA is full of Italians and, of course, Irish. They may vote Dem, but many are practicing Catholics.
