He is absolutely solid. I've met him, spoken with him and listened to his stances (which have never varied). I'm trying to work with his campaign staff but have limited funds and time....but do what I can. But truly......he is solid and cares only about the state of Missouri (in other words....this is not a 'stepping' stone to higher office) He's also co-sponsoring the Missouri Sovereignty bill. BTW this is a great idea on tracking...if I can just figure out how to 'isolate' individual items on FR...so I can track them without having to go through all posts/threads...*sigh* Take care ...I'm sure we'll be communicating more frequently and hopefully with other Missouri FReepers as well.
When I was visiting offices on Wednesday after the Patriot's rally in the rotunda, one of the staffers gave me the website addresses for people to keep up with legislation, committee-meeting schedules, etc.
For House bills, go to www.house.mo.gov
For Senate bills, go to www.senate.mo.gov
I apologize that I do not know how to create links! If everyone bookmarks those sites and checks them regularly, perhaps we can gather an army of patriots and Freepers on short notice to go to Jefferson City when something of interest and/or major importance is being discussed or voted on.
The rally on Wednesday was fun and fantastic. But unless we continue to make our presence known and keep the pressure on, legislators of both parties may become weak-kneed. Also, by periodically walking the halls of the capital, we will provide moral and physical support for legislators like Nieves and Cunningham, et al, to continue to stand firm for the positions we support.
