Jim, I know it’s taking longer and longer every quarter to reach the goal. What can we do to get people to become monthly donors so you wouldn’t have to have a Freepathon? It seems like such a simple thing to set up an automatic withdrawal from your checking account and not have to think about it any more. I hate being a monthly donor on our meager income and still feel guilty that I can’t give more, yet so many people enjoy the services of FR and never give a dime. I wish you could just go with the subscription method. You offer more than any magazine or newspaper, yet most people subscribe to those and think nothing of it. I dropped my subscriptions in order to give to FR. I don’t miss the magazines, but I sure would miss FR if were not here. God bless you for this wonderful service that you work so hard to keep up and running smoothly.

“I wish you could just go with the subscription method”

Another option could be to just add a subscription side, as Rush has done, and restrict it to topics listed in News/Activism, political topics listed in GOP Club, and the Liberty Caucus. I would be willing to pay 35-50 dollars a quarter for it.

This would be consistent with a popular genealogical site that is about 65 dollars for six months or slightly more for the same period if membership is for shorter periods.

There are some very long threads, at times, so I would like to see additional options added to the current next/last options.
