While at college in the garden spot of Newark NJ, and seeing firsthand the beneficient welfare state, I arrived at my own definition of a liberal (60’s leftover, making their way into the establishment in the 70’s):
A person who would stab you in the back, cut you off at the knees, and say “we’re doing this for your own good”.
In future it’s going to be someone who would smother you with a pillow on your sickbed saying “this is for your own good.”
