There are still many good, solid conservative Republicans. Maybe all aren’t but many are. You can’t say that for Democrats. All of them are Liberals and many are outright Communists.
There are lots and lots of conservative Democrats.
It's just that they hate what the Republicans have become more.
Ask yourself this: How did Reagan win Massachusetts twice?
If you understand that, then you understand why the GOP is dying. If you don't, then you're probably mystified by national politics.
