She didn’t lie. If you look closely at what she said, it’s perfectly honorable. I agree that if McCain were still a power in the party, calling the shots, or if he were about to run again, then she would have some obligation to head off a disaster, whether by speaking out or by taking quiet action behind the scenes.

But at the moment McCain is no longer really relevant, except as a piece of history. Frankly I would think less well of her if she attacked the man who tapped her for his VP slot, although I don’t hesitate to speak out about Juan myself.

I think Glenn Beck was getting sidetracked on a non-issue, and she handled it well.

I agree that is was honorable...that is not the issue. She is acting just like other politicians - that is the problem.

I have great respect for her and do not want her to become just another politician but someone who tells the truth whenever asked. She has shown that she will limit her negative statements for political purposes and that is what I hate! Tell the truth - it is actually easy to do.
