The media made a big deal of George W. Bush being a C student (actually he had a lot of B’s in his major, History), but never pointed out that those were from the era before grade inflation. Obama won’t release his high school, college or law school transcripts, so we don’t know how well he did, but his education was after grade inflation became prevalent. A B+ nowadays might have been a C or C- in the 1960s.
