There is hope for the Show Me state.

I bet poor Jay Nixon called Obummer right away and told him that he better send his Brown Shirts to Missouri right away.

Obama's shorts are brown? I guess with everything that's happening, it doesn't surprise me. And why would Missouri want them? Oh, brown shirts!

What information would you require in addition to what I posted?
There was a handful of known Freepers in attendance, including myself.

Look up executive Order Public Law 110-181 of the National Defense Authorization Act issued Jan 11, 2010 that establishes a Governors council who report directly to the Secretary of Defense?. Why would anyone issue such an order if they were not scared of the citizenry?

Missouri House passed a similar resolution last year.
But it died in the Senate.

This year I believe there will be a more concerted effort to pass a resolution. But remember, resolutions are not law nor are they binding to any law. They are symbolic resistance.

Our Freedom of Choice in Health Care Resolution, which if passed by both House and Senate, goes to a state wide vote in November 2010, amends the Missouri Constitution to tell the Federal Government to back off, we aren’t enforcing your mandate in Missouri.

Resolutions are symbolic but We are shooting over the USS Federal Government’s Bow and marking our territory.

I'll do that. On another note, KFAB is talking about ben nelson being shouted out of a restaurant here. One caller said a woman yelled at him to get out this restaurant. I guess other people joined in shouting other things. Nelsons wife was trying to hurry him out. That's all I caught. If I can find more I'll post it on the board.

Texas has a nullification rally on Saturday, lots of buzz and buses headed that direction. I hope there is a large turnout:

One of your representatives will be speaking to use about Texas's sovereignty movement. Brandon Creighton. We're looking forward to his speech. Oklahoma is sending Charles Key. Tennessee will send us Susan Lynn. College football could even be an interesting subject with this group.
