Strictly speaking, "FR" as a corporate entity (Free Republic LLC) never participated in CPAC. Certain groups of Freepers (the Free Republic Network, the DC Chapter) did participate at various times, using their own funds, but to my knowledge no money from FR itself supported these efforts.
