You MUST be a liberal (and/or a homosexual supporter) with your comment.

Shirley, you have been around here long enough to know that personal ad hominem attacks are proof positive that the flame thrower is a maroon.

I have never attended a CPAC convention, but I also have never attended a Republican National Convention. I have commented, and will continue to comment on, bad decisions I feel each group makes. Allowing a homosexual activist group to be a sponsor of CPAC is IMHO a bad decision.

Does it mean I think everyone involved in CPAC is a somehow a rino? Thats one heck of a strawman. Its obvious that CPAC has many solid conservatives which makes this decision even worse. It also makes the continual mention of the conservatives-like Rush-involved with CPAC as being some sort of "gotcha" moment silly.

However FR did have a booth in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Going to CPAC 2005? Stop by the D.C. Chapter booth.

This thread reminds me of John Kerry mentioning he was in Vietnam.

Sarah declined the invition without naming specific organizations but I think she was entirely put off by the co-sponsorship of the John Birch Society which started this year.

A good case can also be made that she declined their invitation last year because she finds Keene repugnant too.

Shirley, no attack - just stating a fact.

When "nutmeg" has no problem defending Keene - a longtime RINO supporter who is now soliciting homosexual perverts for CPAC - that is NOT a conservative combination.

Clearly, it speaks volumes if someone is supporting RINOs and homos as "nutmeg" is doing on this thread.

I was surprised to NOT see any comments about how CPAC will be impacted by the outcome of the GOP Conference and Obamas historical meeting on January 28-30. Should make for a VERY interesting convention, ya think?

It might be the funniest thing ever if he came out and did his speech as “Flap Jackson in the Morning this Morning”.

Yep, however many good conservatives may still attend, the executive director seems thoroughly sold out to Mitt, $$$, and who knows what else—and he trashed Palin as well.

FR is right to sound the alarm on this group.

As far back as I can remember the Log Cabin repubs have had a presence at CPAC.

C'mon Bob. Don't be a spoilsport. Join the party. All true conservatives hate homos. /sarc

Last year's CPAC, Newt is what really turned me off. Especially coming off his 'couch' interview with Nazi P on globull warming. I guess Newt is bi. He wants it both ways.

See or read it here.

Is that correct? Was FR a sponsor or exhibitor in 2009? 2008? 2007? When was the last time FR had a presence at CPAC? Doesn't there need to be evidence of previous support in order to initiate a boycott?

Thank you. I said basically said the same thing when this whole faux-boycott started on FR.

"Facts" still and always will matter.

You’ve really hit on a point I could not put my finger on. Something is troubling about Beck. I think you hit on it.
