You understand the corn we eat is very different from the corn that grew naturally before man altered it, right? The same is true of much of the plants (and animals) we eat.

A farmer I am not. However nature does make new strains through natural ways and means, which undoubtedly is part of how some basic laws of reproduction were to follow.

There are many unanswered questions in regard to the laws of the universe that were originally created by God.

Man makes many mistakes and unintended consequences.
