Sure it’s insane, but he is right, he got no speedy trial.
He does not belong in criminal court to begin with. He belongs 6 feet underground after being soaked in pig crap.
But once you open the door by giving him a trial in civilian court, you open all the doors.
You have the right to remain silent....permanently :-)
